Andor Star Diego Luna talks about his unique plans for Season 2

Star Wars: Andor It debuts on Disney+ later this month. The series is set to follow Cassian Andor (Diego Luna) before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. The first season will take place five years before the movie is released, and it has been confirmed that the show spans two seasons. Recently, Luna spoke with The Hollywood Reporter About the series and troubling that the show will challenge what fans know rogue one. The actor also provided insight into the show’s schedule and plans for the second season.

“I think it’s perfect. It’s beautiful. It’s almost like four different movies [via four three-episode blocks]. Three rings will be a very powerful block to explore one year, another year, then another year and another year. There is also a space between each block as time passes, so we are allowed to evolve and transform. But I think that’s part of the first season as well,” Luna explained.

He added, “Yeah, when I watched Episode III, I probably went, ‘I think I know the characters, the tone, what the series is going to be,’ but then we take you where Episode IV goes. I was like, ‘What!?'” where are we going? what is happening? What happened?” So I think that’s something that long form gives us. It’s the flexibility to literally shift and go somewhere else and meet other characters and find other planets and discover new things. It’s a great format, and it’s very ambitious. It’s complete freedom. You have space, You have space, you have time, and it’s great when you have something to say.”

When it comes to the show’s second season, fans are hoping to see Alan Tudyk return as K2-SO. Unfortunately, the show is not initially expected to feature the lovable and funny robot. During an interview with collider Last year, Tudyk talked about appearing in a Disney D23 commercial for Andor In 2019 he admitted that he is unlikely to appear in the first season of the show.

“They’re shooting at it now, and I’m not in it,” Tudyk explained. “But, if I stay on the air, and keep telling the stories, I’m going to end up there.” “I’m in all these ads for the show, and I suggested at D23 when we announced on the show, that he be called K2 Fast K2 Furious: Cassian Andor سلسلة Series And, that doesn’t happen, it’s called Andor!
